



Gerad Hopkins is a musician, singer, songwriter, performer, and guitar teacher. Born in Los Angeles, California, he began playing and studying privately on the guitar at age nine. As a teen, he attended the Cal Arts Music Partnership Program at California Institute of the Arts. Gerad earned his music certificate from Glendale Community College.
His super keen ear ignites his ability to play anything by ear. Hopkins’ dynamic vocal range, from silky to raspy, and wide range of rock, grunge, blues, and jazz playing styles is heard throughout his music.
Gerad has performed at The State Social House (AKA The House of Blues) in Hollywood, California, Byblos Westwood in Beverly Hills, The Artist’s Project in Los Angeles, California, IlluminaTe Dance and Arts Center in Michigan, Waterfront Park Walk in Orlando, Florida, The Hillcrest in Lakeland, Florida, and Level 10 in Charlottesville, Virginia, as well as a variety of events and galas for the national non-profits, The Jonathan Foundation and Breaking The Chains Foundation.
He has taught himself 500 songs ranging from the 50’s to the present day in a variety of genres and has a unique perspective on making each one his own. He also writes and composes his own music.
Most recently, Gerad recorded his first original song, “Angel From Heaven” and filmed the music video, produced by Gear Age Media in Tampa, Florida, released on July 13th, 2024.
